Updated Summer Reading List

So, I spent this morning making a better schedule and plan for my summer.... and in the process decided I might be able to add a few more fiction books to my list and modify my selection of theory and non-fiction books.  I've also added the list I've made so far of read alouds I'll be doing with my little 7 year old brother and a few grammar/writing books as well.

So first here are the novels I'll be adding to my list that I posted in a previous post here:

Read alouds with my 7 year old brother for the next few weeks:

Updated list of theory books and one non-fiction book, a bit shorter than my original list and I added Beyond Babar:

And this summer I'm trying to improve and build my grammar/writing/editing skills and I found a few books I'm going to be using once a week to do this:

  1. James and the Giant Peach is one of our all time favorite books!!! It's SO GOOD!!! I don't usually reread books (except for short picture books), but we've read it multiple times.

I don't know what's wrong with me, but I've not been able to stick with a book for the past week or so! Ugh! I have LOTS of free time this week with my daughter at camp, and I just can't find anything that I"m enjoying. I'll be looking back through some of your lists... :-)

    1. I'm sure you'll be able to fix that situation soon!!! There are so many books so you'll find one soon :) I've gotten a bit behind on my audiobooks, which is surprising because usually it's the other way around. We actually just started James and the Giant Peach tonight!! I've never read it so we're experiencing it for the first time together, very exciting! That's great to here that it's sooo good :)
