Today starts Children's Book Week, a celebration of kids and reading that has been celebrated since 1919. If you're an adult try and take a break this week and read a chapter from your favorite children's book; if you're a parent make sure and read with your kids this week so they'll know how important it is to do so; if you're a teacher, do a fun read-aloud, reminding your students that reading takes you on an adventure; and if you're a kid try and read, read, read this week from books you love, or new books you've been waiting to read!
Also take advantage of going to your public library this week and take part in all of the great activities that librarians around the country have prepared!
