Hardship, Triumph and Hope in the USSR
Just yesterday I learned of a novel that was published this spring entitled Between Shades of Gray by Ruta Sepetys. I cannot wait to read this novel, and I hope that many more get a chance to read this story about a time in history that is not normally written about, especially for children and was long forgotten and pushed out of memory.
